Jordan is a transactional attorney with a specialized focus on commercial real estate development and complex business transactions. A recognized authority in real estate development, Jordan represents national and regional developers in all aspects of acquisition, leasing, construction and site development. His practice encompasses a diverse portfolio of asset classes, including hotels, office buildings, retail centers, industrial and warehouse facilities, mobile home communities, and multi-family residential developments. He has deep expertise in structuring and negotiating complex real estate transactions.

In his role as outside general counsel to a multitude of closely held businesses, Jordan prides himself on being the client’s first call for all things legal. Jordan serves as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, providing strategic legal and business guidance on governance, operations, capital structuring, and corporate life cycle events. He has counseled numerous founders and executives through entity formation, capitalization, commercial transactions, debt financing, acquisitions, divestitures, and succession planning. His expertise extends to drafting and negotiating intricate partnership agreements, limited liability company operating agreements, and buy-sell agreements, ensuring that corporate structures support both immediate operational needs and long-term growth strategies.

Jordan also represents financial institutions in a broad spectrum of secured financing transactions, including construction and project development loans, securitized mortgage and mezzanine financings, syndicated credit facilities, and other complex lending arrangements. His depth of experience in financial structuring allows him to craft innovative solutions that mitigate risk while maximizing value for stakeholders.

Expanding his practice into the fine art sector, Jordan advises clients on the formation, governance, and operational strategies of art investment funds. He provides counsel on fund structuring, investment strategy development, and regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless execution in this dynamic and evolving market.

A native of Rochester, Jordan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario and his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Since returning to Rochester, he has been actively engaged in philanthropic and community initiatives, reflecting his commitment to both professional excellence and civic leadership.

Beyond his legal practice, Jordan is an avid golfer and skier. He maintains a disciplined fitness regimen, training at Flower City CrossFit and Orange Theory, and is focused on competing in HYROX races. He resides in Pittsford with his wife and their three children. Nothing brings Jordan more joy than watching his children compete athletically.
