Maureen concentrates her practice in the areas of residential and commercial real estate law. She represents purchasers, sellers, property owners, and lenders in all aspects of real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinances. Maureen is widely recognized for her ability to resolve complex title issues in residential, commercial, and foreclosure matters.
Before entering private practice, Maureen served as Underwriting Counsel and Director of Title Operations for First American Title Insurance Company’s Direct Division Office in Rochester, New York. In this role, she provided underwriting and title clearance guidance for residential and commercial transactions across New York State.
A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, Maureen has built her career around real estate, foreclosure, and title insurance law. She has represented a broad range of clients, including purchasers, sellers, and institutional lenders such as the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac).
Maureen is a former Chair of the Monroe County Bar Association’s Real Estate Council and has served on both the Monroe County Bar Foundation and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Greater Rochester. She is also a contributing author to the New York State Bar Association’s Treatise on Real Estate Titles.
Passionate about helping clients achieve their real estate goals, Maureen takes pride in guiding first-time homebuyers through the closing process, assisting sellers as they transition to their next home, and providing lenders with efficient, seamless transactions. In commercial real estate, she offers practical, strategic counsel to help clients navigate complex deals and accomplish their business objectives.
A resident of Pittsford, New York, Maureen enjoys gardening, cooking for family and friends, traveling, and exploring the charming small towns of the Finger Lakes Region in her free time.
